Kossipo appraisal well successfully completed
As part of the phase 4 infill drilling campaign the Baobab partnership has drilled an appraisal well on the Kossipo satellite discovery in the CI-40 license.
The well targeting the northern compartment has proven an oil column with a common oil water contact and pressure gradient to the initial discovery in Kossipo South. The operator is currently evaluating the well results. Kossipo is planned to be developed as a subsea tie back to the Baobab FPSO.
